![]() This experience had me crawling back to Gillette two-blades. However, the "side burn trimmer" is terrible due to the bulky razor head which does not allow it to access tight spaces. Therefore, my favorite 5-bladed razor is the Schick Hydro 5 due to consistency and price. I have tried an original Schick Hydro five (the one with several dots of lube as opposed to the newer 4-5 rectangles), and I did like the alternative to a lube strip, however it lasted about two weeks of fair shaves then suddenly left my neck bloodied and irritated for several days. However they still give me nicks, cuts, and razor burn out of the blue. Now, Gillette's two-blade razors have been my go-to razors for a while, as one will give a consistent semi-comfortable shave for about two weeks and a relatively bearable one for a whole month. I will not spend 40$ a month on razors, so that is out of the question. Gillette's Pro-glide razors are heaven on my neck- that is for about TWO shaves, and then it feels like i'm running large-grit sandpaper up and down my skin. ![]() I have no trouble shaving my cheeks and mustache with any razor, heck a 6 month old Bic razor and dry-shave will do, but the skin on my neck is very picky and easily upset. I maintain a chinstrap-type beard, so my main problem area is shaving my neck- which is for the majority of men the most sensitive. ![]() I got a six pack at Walgreen's for $6 with my free Walgreen's rewards card, so for me they were $1 a piece. I have only shaved once with these so far-will update in regards to longevity and consistency- but so far this is the best disposable razor I've used in regards to price vs quality. ![]()
